Are there special classes for beginners?
New members are always welcome at any class. Since every lesson covers the basics of practice it is not considered necessary to have classes specifically aimed at beginners and the more experienced students will always be on hand to offer their help.

Where is my nearest training venue?
See the venue list for details.

What should I wear?
For your first few sessions any comfortable loose fitting clothing, such as a t-shirt and track-suit bottoms, is ideal. In order to prevent injury to yourself or those you train with, all jewellery should be removed.

How much does it cost?
Training fees are set at 75,000 Lebanese Pounds per month, which covers you for all sessions. However, in order to allow you to try Shorinji Kempo and get a better idea of what it entails your first two lessons are free of charge.

Is Shorinji Kempo suitable for women?
Yes. Shorinji Kempo is a martial art than can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of age, sex or size. The techniques exploit the use of balance, pressure points (vital points) of the body and a number of other mechanical and physiological principles, which means that strength is not required to perform any of the techniques.
